OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police are investigating allegations that a 36-year-old man impregnated his girlfriend’s 14-year-old daughter after the mother arranged for the teen to serve as a surrogate for twins, according to court documents.
Authorities responded to reports of a possible sexual assault at an Oklahoma City apartment complex in December 2025, according to KFOR. Child Protective Services later referred the case to police after discovering the teenage victim was expecting twins and identifying the mother’s boyfriend as the potential father.
Court records reveal the victim’s mother told investigators her daughter “desperately” wanted more siblings. The mother reportedly explained that she and her boyfriend wanted children together but could not conceive due to a tubal ligation procedure.
The mother denied giving permission for her boyfriend to have a sexual relationship with her daughter, according to police reports. However, investigators obtained a search warrant to collect DNA samples from the 36-year-old man to establish paternity of the unborn twins.
Court documents do not indicate whether authorities have successfully obtained the DNA sample. Even if the pregnancy did not result from sexual assault, Oklahoma law requires gestational carriers to be at least 21 years old, according to the Oklahoma Bar Association.
The teenage victim has been placed in protective custody and is expected to give birth later this month, KFOR reported. No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.
Authorities face potential challenges in pursuing criminal charges, as the victim’s mother reportedly relocated to California after her children were removed from the home. Police have also not confirmed the current whereabouts of the boyfriend.
