DALLAS, TX – Dallas police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man in the Far North Dallas area Wednesday afternoon, with no arrests reported as the investigation continues.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 2:15 p.m. in the 14700 block of Preston Road, according to a Dallas Police Department news release. Upon arrival, they discovered Alexander Alton unresponsive at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel were dispatched to the location, but Alton was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency response efforts.
