Pregnant Nebraska Woman Missing, Car Found Engulfed in Flames

STROMSBURG, NE – A 26-year-old woman who is 32 weeks pregnant has been missing since mid-January after she vanished while driving to visit her boyfriend, and investigators say her vehicle was discovered engulfed in flames the following day.

Hannah Neville was last seen on January 15 in Stromsburg, a small town in east-central Nebraska. She was traveling to Lincoln to visit her boyfriend when she disappeared. Her car was found on fire in Lancaster County the day after she was last seen.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and has identified Neville’s boyfriend as a person of interest, though he has not been named as a suspect. Authorities have not disclosed what, if any, evidence was recovered from the burned vehicle.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Detectives have not said whether they believe the vehicle was intentionally set ablaze or if the fire was accidental.

Neville is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She was in her third trimester of pregnancy at the time of her disappearance.

Neville’s family has made public appeals for anyone with information to come forward. The case has drawn concern in the rural Nebraska community, where residents have posted flyers and organized awareness efforts on social media.

Investigators have asked anyone who may have seen Neville or her vehicle on January 15 or 16, or who has any information about the case, to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 402-747-2231.
