Detroit Police Search for Missing 15-Year-Old Zariyah Lawrence

DETROIT, MI – Detroit police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 15-year-old girl who was last seen Thursday in the city’s eastern side.

Zariyah Lawrence was last observed on the 20000 block of Moross Road, according to the Detroit Police Department’s 5th Precinct. Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

The missing teenager is described as a Black female standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Lawrence was wearing a black t-shirt and gray sweatpants with “05” printed on them. Police released this description in hopes that members of the public may recognize her or her clothing.

The Detroit Police Department is urging anyone with information about Lawrence’s whereabouts to come forward immediately. Tips can be reported to the 5th Precinct at 313-596-5540.

Individuals who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up. The Crime Stoppers program allows tipsters to provide information without revealing their identity while potentially helping to locate missing persons.

Police have not indicated whether foul play is suspected in Lawrence’s disappearance. The investigation remains active as authorities work to locate the teenager and ensure her safe return.

The 20000 block of Moross Road is located in Detroit’s east side, near the city’s border with Harper Woods. The area includes both residential and commercial properties.
